Alyssa skipped through the forest, her dad was at work, Davis was with one of his stupid friends and Sierra and Mackenzie were to busy bickering to notice her absense from the Myers Home. It was PERFECT. She jumped in puddles and watched as the mud sprang up and hit her, it was pure AWESOMENESS, she loved mud, it was great for so many things: Mud Crowns, Mud Pies, Mud Gloves, Mud... everything. She looked a head and saw a the biggest mud puddle she had every seen. She ran to it, jumping in and making a huge wave of mud spring into the air, all of it falling on her, she laughed as it did, sprinkling her face and clothes " Woohoo!" she yelled out " Mud! Mud! Mud!" while jumping in the giant puddle. After a couple jumps and splats into the mud, she heard a small twig snap and jumped, turning around to look at the place where she heard the niose... Nothing. She turned back to the puddle cautiously, and began to jump in it again " Mud!" she laughed as she plopped down into the puddle, still laughing when she heard a trig snap again... her head flew to where the niose had come from, her uper lip moved slowly over her teeth and she hissed toward whatever it was " who's there!?" she asked, still alarmed. She stood up, in a crouch kid of way and stared at where the twig had snapped " please come out" she half-pouted half-hissed, she didn't like people scaring her, and it rarely happened, so she never knew how to react... " okay... must be one of those doggie people." she sat back down in the mud, making a mud pie but still trying to be alert of everything around her, but it was hard, sometimes she ended up listening to the hoot of an owl or the bark of baby wolves.... |

Dean was driving along the forest listening to a few heavy metal songs and fiddling with the radio with one hand and steering with the other. He was wearing his High School Letter jacket . It was his pride and joy.He found a station and then stuck to it.He came across lot of animals and they were not appealing to him as a fresh human would. He swerved to miss a deer and skidded off the road. Then he caught a scent and got out of the car . placed his keys into his pocket and then raced into the forest following the scent. He jumped over little creeks and around big trees. He ran into some trees and caught back up with the scent.
Then he heard a cheerful voice .It said "Woohoo!" and also it said "Mud! Mud! Mud!" Dean had a good idea that it was a kid but he did not know if the kid was alone or with someone. He was hoping with someone because he does not bite kids. It was against all he believed. Children do not do anything bad to people. They just want to play around with people. He then heard the voice ask "who's there!?". Dean came out into the open. Dean said" Hello little one and no i am not one of those doggie people. "
Dean paused and then spoke again as he knelt down" So what are you making here. It looks like mud pies. You know what when i was small i used to get all dirty and play in the mud just so my mother would have to clean me up" Are you here all by yourself" it is kinda scary out here for a kid to be all alone. ?

Alyssa hopped up and bared her teeth, she took a whiff of the man and she hissed " DON'T call me little"she jumped back and took a defensive position, he smelled like human blood and Alyssa was raised to believe vampires that drink human blood are bad and could easily kill her " if your not a doggie person, your a vampire, the thing is, what KIND of vampire?" she sounded too grown up for her own liking, it was forean to her and she didn't like it, but this was the tone of vioce she used to get Mackenzie away from her, and if it worked on Mackenzie, who didn't it work on? She loosened her position so she didn't look as grown up and what she thought probably looked scary. " They are mud pies..." she mumbled cautiously, " but I don't do it to make my daddy clean me up... I just like mud" she smiled slightly but kept her ground, eying the man and thinking to herself " this was a bad idea... daddy was right, I should stay at home...." she slowly came out of her stance as she noticed he wasn't showing any sign of trying to attack, she looked at him through slitted eyes " Yes. I am by myself, my daddy wouldn't come along, and I didn't want my brother to... plus my older sisters are to busy bickering, so I came alone. My daddy won't mind" she wasn't sure about this guy, and she sure wasn't going to go near him, but it was the least she could do to answer his questions. And hopefully he would answer her's. " em.... I'm Alyssa.... what's your name?" she asked nervously, wondering if he WOULD eat her like her dad told her all human eating vampires would do. Would he eat her? Would he bite her, or would he leave her alone? Two of them sounded painful.... she prefered the last one, though her beliefes concerd her hopes and she began to think maybe this guy was a bad vampire.... |

Dean quickly got put in his place when the little one hissed while saying"DON'T call me little". Dean responded with" I am sorry about that. It should not have been said."She asked "if your not a doggie person, your a vampire, the thing is, what KIND of vampire?"Dean knew this question was going to be asked and he was ready for it. Dean said" I am a wild vampire. That means i do not feed off of animals . I feed off of humans but i do not bite kids.It is against everything i believe in. You are safe ."
"They are mud pies..." she mumbled cautiously, "but I don't do it to make my daddy clean me up... I just like mud" Dean chuckled to himself and was thinking that it was the typical way of thinking for smaller people like kids. Dean bowed to her and said" Well pardon me for i have accidently assumed the wrong thing. I hope you can forgive me for making the wrong assumption"
"Yes. I am by myself, my daddy wouldn't come along, and I didn't want my brother to... plus my older sisters are to busy bickering, so I came alone. My daddy won't mind" Dean said" Well then that just shows how much trust that they have in you . Most parents i have came across and looked at from a far distance do not trust their kids to be by themself. They just smother them with too much attention and that makes the kids scarred for life."
"em.... I'm Alyssa.... what's your name?" Dean answered with" Nice to meet you Alyssa my name is Dean. It is nice to actually meet someone that is cautious but also nice for a change. I have came across different people with different ways of expressing themselves.

Alyssa was not startled by this, but it did make her run to the nearest tree as quick as she could and get to the top of it, just so the man could see her and she could see him, she bared her teeth again, but this time it was a little less, showing she didn't trust him but wouldn't attack or try too. " I don't know... daddy says to stay away from vampires like you." she tilted her head as she said that. She furrowed her eyebrows " what's so funny?" she asked, nothing was funny to her right now. A strange vampire that drank humans. The middle of the forest. No one to protect her if this man attacked.... it almost scared her, but she forced herself to think positive " Kenzie will come looking for you at some piont... she will get this bad vampire to go away if he tries to hurt me." Alyssa slitted her eyes at the man again, he made no sense, and she didn't like it... she was actually even starting to dislike him. A was a bit to curtious and "nice" for her liking, and it was very hard to get Alyssa to dislike anything. " Err.... nice to meet you too, Dean... and thanks.... I guess..." she looked over at her mud puddle, which was now spread out even farther from her jumping. Mud was everywhere. She wanted to jump in it again, maybe have Logan tag along with her, but this guy, Dean, had interuppted that. She could've had a blast, but instead she was sitting up in a tree, forced to (or try to) look fierce, which she wasn't at all good at.

Dean stood up and saw Alyssa up in a tree. He said" I take it you like to climb?It is a good thing that you listen to what your dad has to say . It is also very wise to because other vampires like me would do what i do not do. I just think that kids will be kids and that just like to play around with people and have fun.
Dean paused and said" I was laughing at the comment that you just to play with mud for fun. Looking at you and how much he were enjoying yourself made me think of when i got married and the wife and i tried to get married but we ccould not. We always talked about adopting but it would not be safe bringing up a kid around human drinking vampires. "
Dean said" I know that you are still a little scared around me and that is understandable and i would worry if you weren't because most human drainers are not nice." Dean turned away and said" Well i will leave you to your mud. Hope you enjoy yourself and i don't want to scare you anymore"
