*Overall History: Bree lived with her father when she was a human, her mother having left her at an early age with her verbally and mentally abusive father. Bree had enough of him, so she ran away from home, not thinking about her father's warning of starvation. She either had to steal food or eat out of garbage cans. Three weeks later, she encountered Riley. Marveling at his beauty, Bree accepted the burger he had offered her. It was at this point that Riley brought her to Victoria to be transformed into a vampire.
One night, after three months of becoming immortal, Bree went hunting with Kevin, a blond vampire who called himself "Spider-Man", and a disciplined vampire named Diego. When Kevin and "Spider-Man" started squabbling over a human, Bree and Diego went hunting on their own and used the time to get to know each other. When the sun arose, Diego and Bree hid in an underwater cave. They later discovered that vampires weren't vulnerable to sunlight, but rather sparkle like diamonds.
While Riley went to visit Victoria, Bree and Diego followed him to tell him of their discovery, only to find out more than they've expected to about the world of vampires. Diego proceeded with his plan while Bree went back to their group and awaited their return. However, Riley later told Bree that Diego had gone with Victoria to watch the Cullens after he informed the army of the plan to destroy the "yellow-eyes". When the Cullens and werewolves destroyed most of her army, she found no trace of Diego and realized that Victoria and Riley had already killed him for confronting Riley about the sun. Carlisle and Esme Cullen offered her safety in exchange for her surrender, which she accepted. Jasper disapproved, but was convinced by Esme to leave her alone. He agreed not kill Bree if they let him watch her, since he knew how newborns act.

Bree was screaming in side. This was the girl she was being set up to hunt… and Bree had to hold on for dear life NOT to. It was pure murder itself… her throat was burning. On fire. And nothing else here but that girl’s blood would quench it… no. She couldn’t… but what was the point? Diego was gone. She would never catch up with Fred…. But Diego wouldn’t want her to do that. She knew he wouldn’t want her committing suicide. She dug my fingers into the ground. HER THROAT. Oh! Her burning throat! And the girl was right there…. So close… and she couldn’t get it… what did It matter? Death was coming soon anyway. At least, that’s what she thought. And she wished she was right. Never had her thirst been this bad. Riley had been RIGHT about something. This girl was dissert indeed, a really temping dessert. But Bree couldn’t do it… for one: Jasper’s glare scared her way too much. For two: this girl didn’t seem… just… didn’t seem right. Different, was the word. She saw figures coming out of the smoke and instantly recognized them: The dark-cloaked people. She was dead for sure now.
