Ginny watched everyone swinging and sliding down slides at a small park near Forks, Washington. Although not a child, she found herself at parks often. She enjoyed the free-spirited feel and the fun it held whether it be her playing or children playing. It was always a stress free environment. She enjoyed sports like basketball and baseball as well as playing with kids. After a few hours of sitting around she decided to leave the park and onto Forks.

She walked quietly into Forks forest. Not really knowing why, she just felt like coming in and besides...she was hungry. Her throat was inching for blood. Smiling, she took of running sniffing for a deer to suck dry. It wasn't long before one popped up! It wasn't deer season so many of them had been running around and easy to find. The hybrid jumped up into the trees swiftly to sneak up on it...When she was on a branch right above the female she dropped down and landed on her back. It tried taking off but Ginny already had her teeth sunk into its neck. When she was done, she stood and walked off.

Now full, happy, and relaxed she found an area full of pretty flowers and the sun peeking through the gray clouds. She smiled standing in the middle of it, taking in it's beauty. It wasn't long, though, before she lost her attention and started day dreaming of England.

With a sigh, she took off skipping higher and further into the depths of the forest. She loved the outdoors and here is just so peaceful! After a while, she decided to leave the forest and go back home. She didn't like staying out for to long and didn't want Esme to start worrying about her. She didn't really notice she had been out all day either.

When she reached the house, she walked in quietly and sat on the couch. The TV was on a show called Supernatural which she had seen many times.

"Stupid, stupid stupid" Mason mumbled under his breath as he made his way through the forest clumsily. He didn't know how he could have been so stupid. The day had started off like normal, with him deciding to split off from his brothers for some alone time. He loved them allot but he was also sort of distant from them for some reason. Either way he liked to take this time to think and try out some things... Be it clumsily trying out martial arts or climbing up trees and hills. Today he had done just that, trying out some kind of funky middle eastern thing when he had been stupid and decided to hit a bee-hive.

The moment it happened he panicked, back when he was human he hated the things and that fear never disappeared after being turned. Never mind that they couldn't harm him. Running like a bat out of hell Mason headed in a random direction, forgetting that his speed was much better than any humans and he quickly outran the insects. That still didnt stop him from panicking and bolting into the nearest house he came across, luckily the door was unlocked and he slammed it behind him.

A couple seconds passed before his brain finally caught up with his body and he realized what he had done and the uselessness of him running away from insects.

"Not your best move Mason..." he mumbled... Hopefully no one was home and he could make a quick exit but he could hear sound from a tv somewhere within the house. Time to make a quiet escape...

The episode that was playing turned out to be very odd. The show had completely turned around fairy tales and made them into a horror type thing. But wasn't that how they were to begin with? Nursery rhymes she knew for sure weren't really happy and cute. People made them that way. This show however, a girl was in a coma who appeared to be Snow White and come back as a ghost as Little Red Riding Hood. The ghost girl made the 'big bad wolf' some man who went on killing spree's. Ginny didn't understand the episode but watched it anyway. The only reason she likes the show is because the twist stories around. It amazed her as to what the human mind could make up and how far they will go. Amusing rather.

She wasn't much on watching advertisements as they usually bored her... so she figured she could use this time to grab a bottle of blood from the kitchen. Using the 'enny meanie miny mo' song she choose a random bottle. She wasn't sure whether to take bear or deer so she let the song decided. It landed on deer. She giggled softly picking it up.

The sound of the door slamming shut made her jump a little. Ginny sniffed the air to see if it were someone from her family.... it wasn't. The thought of burglary jumped in her mind but why would a vampire be so loud if they wanted to steal? She became very curious. Clearing her throat, she walked out of the kitchen and to the front door. A male vampire stood a good bit of distance from her. He was kind of cute in her opinion, however, this wasn't the time to be all gaga over someone who just broke into the house. "Hello." She said calmly, matching her emotion. "What are you doing exactly?" As she waited for an answer, she took a sip from the bottle in her hands.

Just a couple seconds more. Sighing he paced around by the door waiting a bit before he left to make sure the damn bugs were gone. Looking around he noticed that the house was pretty nice. More of a mansion really. He was just about to open the door and leave when he caught the scent of someone approaching from behind and spun around.

"Hello.What are you doing exactly?" MAson froze wondering what to say. At first he thought she was human but there was a bit of a vampiric scent to her. That and she seemed to be drinking some blood. Mason didn't know what was in the bottle but is sure wasn't human blood. Smelled rather funny.

"Um, nothing, i was just leaving..." he replied quickly nodding.

"Sorry, just needed to get away from something, i hope you dont mind me using your house to hide... Nice place though..."

It still was bugging him that the girl was all strange smelling, just what was she? NOt a vampire but not human either... IT was really getting on his nerves, that and he was curious as to what she was drinking. Oh well, might as well ask.

"Um, just a question, and sorry for being blunt but... What are you? And what is that your drinking?"

She watched his body language and facial expressions carefully. Usually watching those things alone could tell a lot about how a person felt and often what they are up to; adding the tone of voice helps a lot also. "Sorry, just needed to get away from something, I hope you dont mind me using your house to hide... Nice place though..." She quirked an eyebrow and sniffed the air. The only thing she could catch a scent of was the two of them, her family, a deer near by... but nothing else. Thinking he was frightened by the deer she giggled and shook her head.

"Um, just a question, and sorry for being blunt but... What are you? And what is that your drinking?" Ginny parted her mouth with one side of her lip pulled into some what of a smile. It was always the same questions over and over again. She had thought about writing a book all about hybrids to sell them to vampires. What a great way to make money for a book on something so rare. Ginny wouldn't though, considering it could easily get in the hands of a human. "The only thing I can smell is me, you, and a deer. I have to say.... Deer aren't that scary." She giggled again.

"I'm a hybrid. My father was a vampire and my mother was a human." She answered him the same as she did every one else who asked. Although now she used the past tense for both her parents and not just one. "My name is Ginevra Cullen. But please, call me Ginny." She gave him a soft friendly smile. "You don't have to leave. You're more than welcome to stay for a while If you would like. My family wouldn't mind." She gave a small nod then remembered the other question he had asked her. "Oh, and this is deer blood. My family doesn't live off humans like you do." The only reason she had said 'you do' is because of his eye color being red.

"Deer?" Mason asked a bit confused then the scent hit his nose. There were deer, a couple of them nearby. And she thought he was afraid of them? Well i guess they were scary. But only if you were driving in a car at night, and one of the things decided that the road would be good for eating.

"Um, no... Its..." He scratched the back of his neck a bit embarrassed. Now that he thought about it he really shouldn't be worried. He was a friggin vampire, why would bees worry him? They cant hurt him.

"Bees... I whacked a hive..." he mumbled...

"Wait wait wait... We can have kids?!?!" A hybrid? So vampires can have kids with a human mother. That was.... Interesting, he had no idea that was possible, looking up at her again he realized what he said "Oh, i mean... Not us, i mean vampires can have kids..." if he could he would be blushing,

"Deer blood? And it works just as well as human blood? Weird... Me and my brothers get blood from dad... He brings it in from work." Although he was a bit curious about the whole deer blood thing. Dad could get in some serious trouble if anyone found out he was stealing blood. At least if they could feed off deer that might not happen, and as a bonus the blood would be warm.

"And there's no side effects? Like i wouldn't get all weak from it? Oh and your sure no one would mind if i stick around?"

Ginny quirked an eyebrow as he tried to explain... Bees? She laughed a little harder than she probably should have. That was something she wished she could have seen. Him whacking it then running like hell to get away. Something like that should be caught on camera. It wasn't like they could hurt him after all. "You showed them bee's" She smirked when she stopped laughing.

He seemed to be nervous or embarrassed. Whichever one he was having a hard time talking. "Relax a bit." She smiled shaking her head. "Yes, vampires can mate with a human. I wouldn't go trying though. The mothers can't survive giving birth to a hybrid." She told him not at all uncomfortable saying her she never got to meet her own mother. She didn't have to say it in those words of course, Mason would be able to catch on simply by saying 'the mothers can't survive'.

"Ah, my family calls it the 'Vegetarian' diet. It's kind of a joke since....you know...human vegetarians don't eat meat while my family doesn't drink humans." She chuckled a little. "Side effects.... Weakness is one. Of course, vampires aren't completely weak they just aren't as strong as human blood drinkers. And the taste of animals takes a lot to get used too." She paused tilting her head... She had given him her name but he hadn't returned with his own.

"I didn't catch your name." She decided on those words instead of saying he hadn't returned with his. "My family is friendly. They wouldn't mind at all. As long as you're not causing trouble or trying to start a fight you're more than welcome to stick around. Besides, those bee's might still be out there waiting for you." She joked with her last sentence trying to lighten his mood some.

"Come on." She added turning and walking into the living room. "Make yourself comfortable." Ginny sat herself on the couch with her legs tucked under her.

[ESME CULLEN]

Esme had been out shopping, after deciding that she want to check all the local shops to see if they had any new things. She had another idea to redecorate one of the rooms in the Cullen house, and was really hoping to actually redecorate the room this time. Unlike times in the past, where she told herself she would but somehow never got around to it.

As Esme shopped she couldn't help but to feel alone. She hated that feeling, it was one of the worst feelings in her opinion. Shopping by yourself just isn't that much fun sometimes. Where were Rosalie, or Alice, or Ginny? Finally giving up she just left the shop with a sigh, and started to make her way home. On the way there she thought about stopping in the forest for a hunt, but decided that it wasn't necessary.

Walking up the front steps she could hear two different voices, and a heart beat. The female voice, and the heart beat, she knew to be her newest daughter- Ginny. The male voice on the other hand, she couldn't put a name too. So, she figured that it was just a friend of Ginny's.

After walking though the front door she turned to walk into the living room, where the two were and smiled at them. "Hello Ginny, dear." She said as she walked over to the couch Ginny was sitting on. "How was your day?" Esme asked before she turned to the man, and smiled at him. "Hello, I'm Esme. You are?"

"I didn't catch your name." Mason blinked before realizing that he hadnt.

"Oh um, names Mason Hao. And if your sure your family wont mind then i guess i will... I mean i don't have anything else to do today. And the only thing id be fighting is bees and they wont come in here." he replied grinning a bit and following her into the living room. As he sat down on the couch and looked around he was amazed by just how rich this family seemed.

For a bit he looked over at the tv, he'd never seen the show on it before "Um, so what is this? I dont watch much Tv at home, but it looks kinda interesting." he asked, a minute later he heard someone else walking in the home. He had thought they were alone which made him a tad nervous. But now...

"So how many people are in your family? " a bit alter he saw another woman enter the room. She seemed to have this air about her that seemed motherly despite the fact that she seemed very young. He did notice however how her eyes were a very stunning

"Mason Hao, mam..." he answered "Um, sorry if it seems I'm intruding. I was just kinda trying to get shelter from a big scary animal attack'..." he then continued. sure it wasn't entirely true, Mason just wanted to embellish things so he didnt seem so pathetic. And at the time the bees were pretty damn scary.
