*Overall History: She was born on September 13, 1987, and lived with her mother, Renee, until the age of 17 when she made the choice to move back to Forks and spend time with her father, Charlie. Renee had just married Phil Dwyer, a minor league baseball player, and Bella wanted Renee to be free to travel with him. Her life up until this point had been uneventful; she was a bit of an outcast in Phoenix, without many friends and certainly without any romantic involvements. Her status as wallflower changed abruptly upon her enrollment at Forks High School, where she managed to capture the attention of boys such as Mike Newton, Tyler Crowley, and Eric Yorkie. The boy that truly intrigued Bella, however, was Edward Cullen; his perfect features and icy demeanor captivated her from the moment she set eyes on him. The fact that he seemed to hate her without knowing her at all did little to quell the fascination. Just as Bella and Edward had started speaking civilly, Bella had a near death experience in the school parking lot in which Edward crushed Tyler Crowley's van with his bare hands in order to save her. From this point on, Bella's life was changed irrevocably, for she knew that there was something very different about Edward and his family.
After spending more and more time together, falling in love in the process, Edward revealed his family secret to Bella: the Cullens were vampires. Though Bella should have been frightened, she wasn't. What she wanted more than anything was to be like Edward so that they could have an equal relationship, so that they could love each other eternally. Even a run-in with vicious nomadic vampires, Victoria and James, did nothing to soften Bella's resolve in this matter. James almost killed Bella, landing her in the hospital with a broken leg and ribs;his death at the Cullens' hands set in motion Victoria's revenge which eventually involved the building of an entire newborn army to hunt down Bella. Throughout all of this, Bella remained loyal to Edward and eventually convinced him to change her by agreeing to marry him.
Bella and Edward hit a rough patch shortly after she landed in the hospital. Her hospital stay had already gone a long way to convincing Edward that his presence in her life was dangerous. Edward became sure of this when his brother, Jasper, attacked Bella at her 18th birthday party after she cut her finger on wrapping paper. With this unfortunate incident, all of the Cullens left Forks, with Edward promising he would never come back. Bella fell into a deep, almost vegetative depression, only coming out of it in the presence of childhood friend Jacob Black. There were, of course, complications with Jacob. Bella was still desperately in love with Edward, while Jacob was sure he was in love with Bella. To make the matter more complex, Jacob revealed to Bella that he was a shapeshifter and that all of his friends were as well, completely rattling her and causing her to wonder whether all monsters truly exist. It was Jacob and his pack that helped protect Bella from Victoria, and Jacob was horribly betrayed when Bella fled to Italy in order to keep Edward from committing suicide under the misapprehension that she had killed herself.
Afterwards they are brought to speak with the Volturi, where they make a promise to change Bella into a vampire so that they can be let free.
Back in Forks, Edward explains why he had to leave and begs her forgiveness. He tells her that he loves her and had always loved her, and promises to never leave her again. She forgives him, and they continue their relationship as if Edward never left. When Edward once again refuses to transform Bella into a vampire, she decides to let his family decide whether she should be changed and thus join their family. All except Edward and Rosalie vote affirmatively for her to be changed. Although initially outraged by his family's decision, Edward later agrees to change her himself if she agrees to marry him first.
Reluctantly Bella accepts and is somewhat relieved to know that he will change her, though she fears that he will keep her waiting longer than necessary.
Bella is still unsure weather he will change her or not, she constantly begs to be turned and each time he refuses, saying he wants her to have every human experience possible before she is turned. He doens't want her to feel as though she'd missed a key point in her human life.
However with the new threat, Victoria vampire army, it doesnt look like Edward will have much of a choice.
Bella is pushing more to become a vampire, Edward still refuses, claiming they could handle the upcoming war without having to turn her. Promising and swearing everything and everyone will be okay.

A day without Edward, great. Just what she needed. The one person she looked forward to seeing most out of her day and he was nowhere to be found. Of course she knew perfectly well where he was and what he was up to. She was many things but stupid is not one of them, unless one would count the math class she was currently failing but she'd cross that bridge when she has to.
For now she was much more concerned with lunch, she'd skipped breakfast today. Waking up late for school, she had no other choice. It didnt help much that she had fallen more than once, the first of her series of falls would be the spill she took rolling out of bed. The second would be on her way to the bathroom to brush her teeth and the third would be when she had headed down stairs to first grab her breakfast but after the last time, she'd given up on trying to rush and simply left without eating.
Needless to say the poor girl was starving.
She made her way first to her locker, putting her text books away and tossing her back pack in the as well before reaching over and grabbed the jacket that she had sloppily put away this morning. She put her arms through the jacket sleeves and zipped it half way before making her way to the cafeteria.
Along the way she bumped into a fellow classmate and apologized sheepishly as she now rushed pass the crowd and into the cafeteria.
Her eyes immediately wandered to the table the Cullens usually sat at, looking for Edward out of habit but he wasn't there. Of course he wasn't there, he was out hunting. He told her he'd be gone so why she even bothered to check for him was a mystery to her.
Making a u-turn to the lunch line she grabbed herself a tray with just an apple and some celery sticks then grabbed a bottle of orange juice. Normally school lunch was okay to eat but for some unknown reason the schools lunchmeat usually looked like it'd been previously digested, best stay clear of the 'mystery meat'
After grabbing her lunch, she smiled as she walked over to the table she sat at with Angela and the others, seeing Alice sitting there waiting for her "Hey." she greeted with a small, sheepish smile. Alice asked how her day was and Bella swore she was glowering but quickly adjusted her face "Fine. Failing math..." she trailed off as she bit a celery stick, chewing and then swallowing as she opened her juice.
