Born the son of Renato and Laylee Mason was the second and middle child of three sons. For the next few years he was your average child. At the age of 12 he began to learn to play the drums and along with his brothers they eventually formed a band of sorts.
For awhile all was well but soon Mason began to develop interests in other hobbies. More specifically he began to play in organized hockey with surprisingly had a bit of a following in England. After finishing school Mason was beginning to look around at possible schools to attend when Renato decided to move the family to America. Mason didn't really mind, finally things were looking up for the family. They were rather well off now.
The first few months everything was going well. The boys were adjusting to their new lives. Then things became awry when Kenny disappeared leaving Mason the oldest child. For awhile he worked to keep his parents hopes up that maybe Kenny would turn up but as the days wore on things looked bleak. So it came as a shock when he answered the phone and Kenny was on the line. His brother explained everything to both of them. At first Mason was angry that Kenny had abandoned them. He resented having all that responsibility placed on him but he eventually forgave him. Eventually he grew used to the new Kenny and allowed himself to be turned.
After that first year as a newborn Mason has never regretted this choice and now enjoys being a vampire. His only annoyance is that they weren't able to save their mother. Something he sort of blamed on Kenny.
Otherwise Mason is you average young adult. Hits on chicks, enjoys the company of friends and his family. His only annoyance is that he cant really do competitive sports anymore. At least not with normal people.
