Everyone seemed to be talking about her. Plus was it true that Edward may have found someone else? After all this time of him saying that there will never be another like Bella? It just infuriated him that she still had feelings for someone who was so indecisive. Of course the pack always said the same thing about him, why should he continue on with Bella? He just wished he could imprint on her and then nothing would matter anymore. She would be his and there wouldn't be any questions asked. He sighed as he walked through the forest. He had the urge to go running, he was technically on patrol but still in his human form. He hated being on patrol left alone with his thoughts. The pack are probably trying to reach him through his mind, that or they have better things to do.
Jake took off his clothes and tied them to the string around his ankle, he might as well do what he was supposed to. he phased and then started to take off at a small easy canter. He smiled at the thought and started to run slowly, his gait smooth as ever. He sighed as he felt the leaves beneath his paws and the softness of the earth underneath him. He didn't know exactly where he was headed just that he was running off to do his patrol. Carefully he sniffed the air, it was all clear in this area, taking off again he headed around his mind still filled with Bella. What was it about her that made him feel this way? It was infuriating for him. The conventions of his love could not be undignified, nothing could. He sighed again and shook his head. Using his mind he felt out to who ever else was in wolf form. Only Seth was running around in his garden. Poor kid. Sam refuses to let him patrol yet, he really is too young. Jake put his mind back to where it should be, on the patrol.
Because his mind had been on Bella Jake had run towards the border line of the treaty. La Push and Forks both ran either side. There was a small river that separated it. He saw the river further down and took a small drink out of the stream. Then he headed towards the treaty line at a small walk. Then a scent came to him. He stopped and sniffed the air again. It was a slightly repulsive scent but at the same time it was a scent that smelled human. He couldn't quite dignify it. Jake moved forward following the stream towards the line. He couldn't stop his nose from sniffing what ever it was. The smell wasn't too repulsive but it still gave off the vampire odor, it was the strangest thing. He walked forward and saw a masses of blonde curls. He cocked his head to the side in curiosity. Behind a tree he phased back into human form, communication was too had in wolf form. He walked forward letting his presence known with a blank mask on his face although he was undoubtedly curious about this being.

Ginevra walked from her office and into the store; every once in a while muttering a "Hi" to the art customers as she passed. She really hated it when a customer thought of her stuck up or rude. When she reached the exit doors she remembered something she had forgotten to do. She needed to figure every ones pay. It was already hard for a girl who pretended to be seventeen to be running a store such as this. Not many her 'age' own or are the managers of any kind of good business store. It wasn't like it was a bank though so she shouldn't have to worry about others suspicions. Her store was a simple art supply place that held some classes every now and then. "I can do that later. It's not that important; not when I have four days to do it." She thought walking out the opened doors. Fresh air reached her nose and the sight of children playing at the park across the street came to her icy blue eyes. She didn't linger to long though. She needed to go hunt before her throat started bothering her to much.
The house seemed to be empty apart from one of her sisters. She hadn't a clue where the others were but had no intentions on asking where they went off too. She wanted to hunt first. It didn't take her long at all to hunt down a deer. She kept on it trail sniffing it out and quickly finding it. It was a mother though. Ginny could never kill a mother and leave the baby abandoned; it just wasn't like her. And she definitely wouldn't kill the baby. It took her five minutes to catch the scent of another and only two to tackle it down. The blood cooled down her throat quickly and she was even full by it.
A sigh escaped her lips as she found herself at the river . Ginny smiled as the light wind blew her hair back. Today it was in her natural curly instead of straightened with a clip holding her bangs back. She started walking along side the border in deep thought. Before she knew it she was on their side. To make matter worse the stench of a shifter had become strong, in-fact, one was pretty close to her. "Oh." She said running back over. "I'm sorry. I wasn't paying attention and I strayed over. I didn't mean too." She looked at the black haired shapeshifter for a moment before tucking her hair behind her ears. She honestly didn't mean to cross. She wasn't nervous though. She was in the mood she always puts herself in when there was possible danger. Unreality calm. "I'm Ginny Josephine....Hmm...Maybe I should use my new last name" Her last sentence was speaking to herself. "Ginny Cullen."

Being around Bella had been the only thing he knew he could control. Of course she was seeming to come down to La Push a lot recently. He had told her about this patrol though and therefore knew she wouldn't be there today. It still bothered him that he couldn't see her today though. He missed her whenever she wasn't around. It wasn't exactly like they had a lot of excitement around here anymore. No vampires that the wolves could actually kill were around anymore and it made life boring for the pack. Of course the Cullens were still out there and Jake would love to get his teeth into them. But he knew better than to break the treaty, it just wasn't what he did. That was why there was the complete shock of seeing that young girl over the line that had the distinct vampire smell.
The girl obviously hadn't noticed him when he was in his wolf form. Or maybe she could smell him as distinctly as he could smell her? He didn't know. Jake was so curious about this girl, she looked as though she were seventeen. Maybe she really was human but had been hanging around with vampires? It was explain it all really. Did she even know what he was, that vampires exsisted? Jake just couldn't get over himself. She noticed him though and quickly crossed back over the invisible border. So she did know. What was she? Jake didn't show any of this on his face though, it was a blank mask and that was the way it was going to stay. He had the urge to phase back into his wolf form because he had no idea what to do about this girl. She started to mumble her apology but he could hear it with his hearing and good senses.
The girl seemed pretty calm around him. Surely she knew he could rip her head off in an instant. Then he heard it. The thrumming of her heart beat. He could also smell the animal blood. What on earth was she? She started to tell him her name. Not that she was particularly interested. Well he wasn't until she told him her last name. Cullen. Instantly Jake's stance moved. He brow increased as he nearly growled at her. "What are you? I can hear your heart beat but you smell vampire?" His words probably came out harsher than he intended but why should he wait around to see if she could kill him. How did she have a heartbeat? It was slightly faster than a humans was that's for sure, but it was still there.

Ginny stood there in silence with the calmest most relaxed expression on her face. She knew very well she wouldn't stand a chance against a shapeshifter. Not only does she choose not to fight she's never fought someone. Something was telling her she wouldn't have to worry though. After seeing his reaction to the name Cullen she just didn't feel like she was in any sort of danger. Not unless she went and killed someone which is about near impossible for her. She's never harmed a human before. "What are you? I can hear your heart beat but you smell vampire?" That was usually the first question she got when meeting someone of the supernatural world. It was always the same questions. What are you? How is that possible? Do you age? Will you die? Can you eat human food? And usually after those they want to know how hybrids function. She wasn't sure what kind of questions he would be asking afterward but she was prepared for them.
"I'm a hybrid." She said in her soft, day dreamy-like voice. "My father was a vampire and my mother a human. I have traits from both species. My kind is extremely rare. Not many vampire hybrids running around." Jacob would be able to tell she is foreign simply by her British accent. She never felt the need to hide it unless she is speaking with a human. According to her fake past she is from Florida, which isn't a full lie, but still needs to mask it with a more American accent. She was living in Florida before roaming to Forks, Washington where Edward Cullen found her, so faking that accent wasn't hard. The thought of Edward made her heart jump then flutter a bit. She pushed him back to focus on the shapeshifter.
She didn't understand fully why they hated one another so much. Ginny hadn't a problem with other species at all. Most vampires are hostile and murders but some are not. The word judgmental comes into her mind for both vampires and shape-shifters. Everyone just seemed so....misunderstood. "I was told about the treaty, of course. I was told not to cross the line because I have vampire in me. That if I did I might be killed. That's why I apologized. You don't have to give me your name....but it would be nice to know who I'm speaking with." She offered a smile not caring that he come off harsh in his question. It was obvious she didn't care by how soft and calm her voice was.

Which was rare. He normally could come up with some witty response but he was rendered completely speechless. He just stood there staring at her. Of course now the mask had been removed slightly and the curiosity was just so plain on his face. No doubt he looked like an absolute idiot. He just didn't know what to say. A half breed? Not quite human and yet not quite vampire. Did she age? There were a billion and one questions he wanted to ask her but for now he decided it would be best not to give her the Spanish Inquisition. She probably got that a lot from her own species as it was. He just watched her instead, she definitely had the gracefulness of the vampires, not that he would ever admit that out loud. He let out a small sigh.
She started explaining about her parents and how she was made this way. Well that took one question away. Then a thought came to Jake's mind. Could Edward do this to Bella? That scared him just a little bit. Did Bella even know about this Hybrid? " Ok, is that why we as a pack haven't heard about you? It also explain why there is more stench around here" He said it to make himself feel better. Of course she was partly human so was it his job to protect her as well? Jake ran his hands through his hair in frustration, he didn't know what to do, or even what to say to this halfbreed. Of course people call the pack half breeds as well because of their human sides. What was happening with the world these days? Everything was just turning upside down.
The girl started to talk in her dreamy like voice about how she knew about the treaty. The Cullens had obviously informed her pretty well. Ginny seemed to be one of those people who just didn't care what others thought about her, it was something Jake normally respected about people. Jake wasn't sure if the treaty really did apply to Ginny. "Well, I'm not going to kill you if that's what your wondering. My name Jacob, I'm surprised little Edward hasn't talked about me, we are the best of friends." The last bit had been said quite sarcastically, he couldn't help it. Sarcasm was the way that Jake handled everything, it made him feel better. He sighed again but couldn't stop looking at her, she at the age of around 17 but then again, Jake doesn't exactly look his age either, he knew looks could be deceiving.

"Ok, is that why we as a pack haven't heard about you? It also explain why there is more stench around here" She giggled. Leave it to Ginny to find funny in something that's not really meant to be funny. They were pretty even on stenchs though. She smelled half and half and Jacob didn't smell as bad to her as full vampires would find him. "I apologize for my stench." She smirked jokingly. She might be calm but serious conversations weren't in her nature. Do to the fast growth of hers she's still like a kid in some ways. "Well, I'm not going to kill you if that's what your wondering. My name Jacob, I'm surprised little Edward hasn't talked about me, we are the best of friends." Her eyebrow slowly raised at this. Now she had a face to place with the name that floats around the house. She imagined him with longer hair though. Her heart sped up at the name, Edward, as well. Thinking about him, he would not like her around Jacob at all. The caring vampire didn't like her leaving his sight, really. If he were to find out he would bombard her with questions. Most likely he would assume the worst.
"Best of friends?" She played along in her joking manner. "Interesting." She laughed softly as she quickly ran to a tree with a low branch to sit on. Once situated she looked back over to Jacob. He hadn't a clue what all has been said to her. She didn't feel it needed to be said though. "I know you helped my family with the newborns. I've heard about you and the others." She told him taking her fingers through her waist length hair. "I wouldn't think you would kill me. That would, in some way, go against the pack wouldn't it? You wouldn't be able to catch me if you tried though." Ginny smirked slightly. If their was danger she could very easily teleport herself back to the house were it was safe. Jacob would have to catch her completely off guard but even then she could get away. The only way he could stop her is to knock her out. She wouldn't say anything about it or her power. Not unless it's safe too.
Ginny began to be curious as to how they would take a hybrid. "Either way, I wouldn't cross the line. I wouldn't feel very welcome there." She smiled and shrugged. It didn't bother her any. There wasn't really anything she would want to do there besides go to the beach and there were beaches else where. "Just so you know, the pack won't need to worry about me doing something I shouldn't. I've never killed a human in my life." She had drank human blood in her past when her father was still alive. He worked with blood banks and often brought some home for him and his daughter. After he was murdered, she switched to animals blood.
notes;; she doesn't usually talk this much...she's usually quiet like her voice is when speaking but shes curious so (; and don't worry your posts have been fine!

It was just his way of coping. Of course when he did crack jokes or even just make smart ass comments, no one really laughed at them. Well no one but Bella, but even then, she normally just rolled her eyes whilst trying to suppress her laughter or annoyance. But when Ginny started to laugh because he was accusing her of smelling, he was totally taken aback. That wasn't something he was used to. He watched as she giggled and then got over herself but had a small smile on her face. Jake Couldn't help but let his face furrow slightly but there was a smile playing on his lips as well. What was it about this girl that just wasn't as repulsive as most other vampires. Of course he wasn't going to admit that to himself, or to anyone else for that matter.
Jake was immediately surprised when Ginny came back with one of her own little smart ass comments. Jake raised an eyebrow at this. Since when do vampires or even half vampires for that matter have good come backs? Jake shook his head a little bit. "Who knew that you guys had some form of a sense of humor. Not all of you do" He said with a small chuckle. He was thinking about the protectiveness of Bella. Edward normally didn't let her leave his side, well except for recently. Jake wondered if there was someone else for Edward. He doubted it though, that wasn't the way his luck turned. When Jake mentioned him and Edward being "best friends" he watched as the girl cocked up an eyebrow. Maybe Jake's name had been circling around at the Cullen house. That was a nice thought the fact that he was getting popular.
Finally Ginny spoke again. She was more likely talking to herself though. When Ginny moved Jake's eyes were able to follow no matter how fast she was. He almost growled out of reflex but ended up with just a small rumble in his chest. It wasn't something that could be helped. Jake walked slowly until he became across from her again, she was just higher up. "Yes the pack saved their butts. Of course the doc patched me up good and proper. Some girls just shouldn't be allowed to fight. Not all, but some" His mind went back to Leah. She was such an idiot for what she did. The feeling of his bones being crushed was not a good one, not to mention the re braking. He shuddered at the memory of it, he hated to think of anything like that again. The pain had been so intense. There would always be a small scar from it, but that was all.
Ginny started playing with her long hair. Geesh didn't anyone cut their hair these days? Jake ignored it though and concentrated on what she was saying. So she knew he wasn't going to kill her. That was something surely? But what if he had suddenly changed his mind. He hoped she wasn't a mind reader, cause that would just suck. "It would only go against the pack if the entire pack didn't want it to happen. But being almost alpha, I get a lot of the decisions made. Also, what makes you think I couldn't catch you? You obviously don't know how fast we really are then do you?" He said with an amused smile upon his face. If she really thought they weren't fast enough then she hadn't heard the right things about the pack. They were stronger and faster than most people give them credit for.
Ginny explained that she wouldn't cross the line as she wouldn't feel very welcome there. He smirked at this. What would she expect, a welcome hug? "Would it make you feel better if we all stood here with out arms wide open waiting to hug you before we ripped your head off?" He said it sarcastically and as a joke. He didn't know what to make of Ginny let alone if he was allowed to kill her. She started to explain that she had never killed a human before. Well at least that was something right? Jake nodded his head to show he understood. "So your like the Cullen's and feed off of animals?" He was only asking because he knew some vampires could use blood banks as well. That would probably be something to drink. He shuddered at the thought, vampires were still repulsive in every way.

Ginny watched him carefully as he moved to stand infront of her again. No fear could be detected from her, he in no way intimidated her. "Yes the pack saved their butts. Of course the doc patched me up good and proper. Some girls just shouldn't be allowed to fight. Not all, but some" Ginny was completely quiet as he spoke to her. Something was telling her without the pack helping they would have had a harder time and without the Cullens the pack would have had a harder time. From what she's heard there were quiet a few newborns running around. She was just thankful she come along after the fight because she would feel completely useless during it. She knew Esme wouldn't let her because she would be the easiest to hurt. If anything, she would have got in the way. It didn't help that she wasn't the fighting type of person.
A little playful, half smirk appeared on her face when he talked about speed. If he could travel at the speed of light then he would be able to catch her but she knew he wasn't that fast. Would he consider it cheating if she teleported away? Probably. But then again, if he wanted to hurt her it wouldn't be some fun game. She would cope and play it off as a game, however. At least until she could reach her family. To stay honest with herself she would be a little shaken up once in safety. "So your like the Cullen's and feed off of animals?" She sighed softly thinking about her new family. It wasn't because of them that she had switched to animals blood but they did help her out with support.
"I have an advantage that you don't have when it comes to speed," She quoted the word speed with her fingers while spoke. "But I think that explanation is for another time." Ginny didn't feel like explaining her power to him. Edward probably wouldn't want her too either not to mention Jacob could possibly use that against her, in some way, if the pack did decide to hurt her. She couldn't imagine them doing that though considering she is a Cullen. "As much fun as head ripping sounds I think I'll pass." She giggled. "Besides, I've become used to being rejected so I wouldn't mind if I can't go to La Push. Wolfs, vampires, and humans have rejected me before. I don't really fit in anywhere. I never age so I can't really keep human friends. I'm half vampire so I wouldn't imagine you and your pack would like me. And I'm half-human which makes me 'weird' according to some vampires I've met. What do I have left?" She went rambling about being different and not very welcome to the world. It was the only thing that ever hurt her feelings. To cope, she tries to not care. Even her personality is different so what's being a different species add to that? Nothing, really.
"I am a Cullen so yes I am like them. I live off animal blood. It's not good but... I'll live." She went into a day-dreamy state again, her eyes weren't focused on anything but what was going through her mind. "Why are you....I guess the word would be...interested to know about me?" The answer she dreaded getting would be because of what she is. A more comfortable answer would be because of the Cullens.

Surely if she had never met a shape shifter before she would want to know everything she could about him? Unless of course everyone around her seemed to have said everything that they needed to. What if she was just being wary. Jake knew he was sure as hell curious about her, although very truthfully she seemed to be telling him everything as she talked. Was that natural to her? She looked like the shy type of person, he wondered if she talked this much around the others. Of course she didn't want to know what kind of relationship she was having with the Cullens. He knew they could get pretty intimate with each other. Made for each other as some people say, it reminded Jake of the whole imprinting deal.
Jake noticed that Ginny went quiet when he mentioned the fight with the newborns. She had obviously heard that through joint forces it had all ended well. Jake knew that neither could have done it without the other, not that he would ever admit that to anyone. The corner of Ginny's lips turned up into a sort of smirk when they were talking about speed. Then he remembered that vampires had certain talent's as they were called and no doubt she inherited one from being half vampire. He chuckled and shook his head. She pretty much got all the good parts about being a vampire. "Let me guess. You received a special talent from your families vampire side?" He said it looking at her but the mask that was normally on his face, now was no longer there. It didn't need to be anymore, he was relaxing around her. She seemed just as relaxed around him.
Ginny started to say that she wouldn't talk about her speed and the way she moves and said it was an explanation for another time. He smiled at this. Of course she was half vampire and the Cullens wouldn't want the pack to know. "Oh, am I going to be expecting another visit from you soon then am I?" He said with a small smile on his face. Jake couldn't help but be slightly cocky around people, it was just the way he was sometimes. It was because Ginny was someone new. It was strange that he was thinking of a half vampire as a someone instead of an it. This thought alone took Jake aback slightly, since when did he not think of anything vampire as an abomination. He never believed they should be walking around, what's dead should stay dead, simple as that. Jake sighed and ran a hand through his hair.
Ginny reminded Jake of himself. She always had something to say, always had a good come-back as well. It was nice to find someone like that, he mentally shook himself, how could he be friends with someone who had vampire in them? Jake ignored it and laughed along with her. She started to ramble on a little bit about being rejected everywhere she went. It actually made him feel a little guilty about the sarcastic comment he had made, but what could she expect? He wondered how human she really was because it sounded a lot like what Bella would say. "You know, being different ins't exactly a bad thing. Hey you should try a good head ripping once in awhile, it might just cheer you up sometimes. What's the saying? Don't diss it till you've tried it" He said it with a smile trying to make her see that he didn't think she was weird. For some reason he could see himself being friends with this strange girl.
Ginny seemed to roll her eyes at his questions. Obviously she got asked a lot of questions in her time. Some vampires might not even be aware of the existence of half breeds. Heck he doubted even the Cullen's had known until Ginny had showed up. She answered the question none the less though. She seemed a little disappointed though. Suddenly Ginny was off staring into space, how strange this girl really was. "You do realise it's rude to stare? Come back to planet earth" He said it with a joking tone. It was funny to watch someone who was so calm and laid back like she was, it was different. Ginny came back with a question of her own. She wanted to know why he wanted to know about her. He actually was stunted and didn't quite know how to answer her. "I guess because you're different. I've never met anyone like you. Plus it's nice to know that you don't kill people because for some reason, I don't want to kill you" He said it with a small smile. What is wrong with me? He thought.

Thoughts flooded her mind. She had heard many things about Quil-wolves including their smell, their attitude, their way about things... but usually nothing to great. Ginny saw good in the pack though, even if they did want to kill every vampire stalking planet Earth. They are true to who they are and their heritage. The have those strong beleifs and they don't turn from them. She actuality adored that about the pack. It was a rare thing to come by, people being truely honest with how they feel about something; who they are. That in beleifs alone says a lot about an indivaual. "You do realise it's rude to stare? Come back to planet earth" Speaking of Earth, Ginny heard him and immediately looked back. She had a light grin on her face. "I guess because you're different. I've never met anyone like you. Plus it's nice to know that you don't kill people because for some reason, I don't want to kill you" The usual! Minus the killing people thing. It didn't make her feel as bad as she first thought it would. It was to be expected with a shifter infront of her. It wasn't like he was only asking to know right? She had a feeling Jacob would let and want the pack know about her and what she is... The hybrid was doubtful he wanted to know for interest in her.
She smirked before her smirk turned into a smile. "You don't want to kill me? That's such a relief." She laughed jokingly as she moved her legs to sit crossed legged on the tree branch. She balanced herself rather well on it, considering it wasn't that thick of a branch. Thankfully, she wasn't heavy or she would have ended up on the ground already. "To honest with you, I don't head rip." She grins. "I paint or draw when I need cheering up. It's like Heaven to me." Painting was a way for her to bound with others as well. She painted with Bree a few days back and she knew they had fun. Bree made a mess all over her carpet but it was easily cleaned. Bree splatter painting is dangerous for keep sakes. She was so messy with it. Ginny, however, wasn't the splatter painting type. She loved making memories on canvas; things that she loved, made her happy, places she likes, or places in her dreams. She could never go wrong with painting, never. She refused to draw bad memories because, what's the fun in that? She drew her father over and over and over again but that wasn't a bad memory. Finding him dead was, and she only drew the good memories with him.
"I do have a 'special talent'. Tell you what, I'll give you a hint. It has something to do with traveling." She grinned. "I've become used to being different, I suppose. I don't think I'd give it up to be human though. I'd give up being immortal and having to drink blood. Other than that I like being fast and strong. Don't have to carry mace with me." She winked at her last sentence. Her speed, gift, and strength come in great handy when defending herself. Humans would never be able to hurt her unless they had some kind of weapon. Her skin was tough and healed fast as well, so even being shot wouldn't hurt as much as it would for a human. Rose would glare at her if she was around, because she had told Gin before she would give up anything but Emmett to be human.
"What's it like to shift? I have imagined it would be painful... The bones would have to bend and shape differently and organs would have to be moved around. And talk about fast hair growth... Was it hard to get used too? Getting used to moving and walking on all fours. Is there color blindness?" Jacob got her to ramble not even meaning too... She was a little interested in how things worked. All she was told is that they shift into huge wolves and kill vampires. Nothing was said as to how it was done. A brief explanation of the history but that's all.
Sighing, she hopped off the branch to stand at her usual five foot, one inch. Jacob was very big compared to her. He was well over a foot taller and she was small boned and short. It was defiantly the Irish in her though that made her smaller. Looking at him reminded her of how small she really was. It wasn't bothersome though. Ginny also noted that Jacob was more good-looking then what they had told her he was. She wondered if the rest of the pack was the same... that they were better looking then what was said.

Was she really looking for a different reason? What other reason would there be? Maybe Jake just was looking for an excuse not to kill her. That would be a nice thing to have though now wouldn't it. Surely she would have been happy that he was interested in her. It could have been a lot worse and she should know that by now. Jake sighed slightly, he didn't want to act like he had any weaknesses or anything around her. Sure she seemed pretty relaxed around him and surely he looked relaxed as well but he really didn't know her all that well or enough about her to know if anything was to be on the look out for.
Jake watched the girl carefully. He wondered why she wasn't her ass yet the way she was moving around on that extremely thin branch. If he sat on it, well that would have been interesting. They would all be on their asses. Of course there was no way he was going to risk crossing the border line, the treaty meant too much to the pack for that to happen. Ginny had yet another come-back. Heck as least she was on the ball, most people didn't even bother when it came to Jake, he was too much of a pain in the butt. Ginny made a comment about her being relieved. Jake just laughed with her. "Well only as long as you stay on my good side then we won't have a need to kill you. In other words it's best if you stay over there" Jake said it with a smile hoping that he wasn't making her uncomfortable. But then he wondered what it would matter.
Being half naked in front of people wasn't something he could help but it only just noticed it now that he was getting more relaxed. Ginny started to talk about how she preferred to do other things to cheer her up. Jake didn't like to do either of them. Of course he didn't always rip people's heads off whenever he felt like it. He laughed again with her. "Yeah normally I fix something in my garage. Of course I always love to wax and cherish my newly made car" He realised that he was spilling his personal life to someone that he had just met. At least he wasn't sitting there talking about Bella. Gee that would be an awesome conversation. Especially as she lived with the Cullens. Ginny probably knew all about Bella and Edward and how they were so involved. Jake sighed a little at the thought.
Jake listened as she started to explain her special talent. He figured she wouldn't tell him all of it. Who would? Jake shook his head but ran his hand through his hair slightly out of frustration. Ginny went on a little ramble about some other things. He noticed that she tended to do that. If anything Jake thought it was cute, of course he remembered when Bella used to go on her rambles when she was nervous about something or when she wanted to say something that she couldn't express. Jake chuckled at her a little bit. She was funny that was for sure. Ginny seemed like someone you could have a laugh with. " Well it's not as though you need mase I guess." Jake smiled back at her he wanted her to feel comfortable.
Ginny suddenly got curious. Not something Jake expected. It was a little strange. She asked if it was painful to shift. Thought went back to his first transformation, wow that pretty epic and out there. He hated reliving it but Ginny's question brought back all the pain. All the pain and the voices in his head telling him what to do. He knew it had to be over pretty soon, it was all way too much for him that day. Sighing he ran a hand through his hair and then shrugged. "Yeah it got easier. Now I don't even notice it I guess. Want me to show you?" He asked her. Of course he didn't want her to see him completely naked. He knew where there was a spare pair of shorts close by though. He always kept them around in case he phased in anger then he would be naked without clothes when he phased back.
Her questions hadn't all been answered though he remembered the other she asked. "Walking on all four felt slightly natural once in the wolf form. There isn't colour blindness no, most people make that common misconception. That's only in actual wolves not werewolves." He explained to her. Jake had no idea why he was telling her all of this. Ginny was someone he had only just met, why would he tell her all of this? It wasn't exactly secrets but it wasn't something the pack talking about with others. It was too personal for them. Not the getting used to it part but the first change part. He never spoke about it afterwards. The pain it had caused it was intense enough as it is. Shuddering away from those thoughts he relaxed once more, the memory was bad enough he didn't want to have to relive it as well.
He watched as Ginny jumped down off of the branch. She really was rather small. Well everyone was small compared to him, it wasn't something that could be helped. Jake smiled at her slightly. He was still standing in front of her. Instead he sat down with his legs hanging over the cliff edge slightly. It was slightly cold but he kind of figured neither of them would feel the cold seeing as she was half dead, no offence on her behalf, and his supernaturalness didn't feel the cold. It was strange to be completely relaxed around a scent that usually disturbed him. It was probably because it was diluted by Ginny's human half.

Ginny began twisting her hair between two of her fingers. She did this often when learning something, figuring something, or trying to reason something. It was almost like a habit. "Well only as long as you stay on my good side then we won't have a need to kill you. In other words it's best if you stay over there" She nodded understanding. It wasn't like she was planning on making her way over there. It didn't bother her or hurt her feelings either. It was something neither of them could help. She doubted Jacob would have any reason for wanting her over there anyway, so it wasn't a big deal. "Noted." She smiled softly.
She listened when he started talking about working in the garage. Her mind strayed to Rosalie who loved cars and working on them. She didn't bring her up though, considering she knows they don't like each other. If Rose were human they would probably get along rather well. At least on the garage half. Ginny didn't know what her sister was like as a human but knew very well as a vampire she is temperamental. Sometimes hard to not make her mad even. "I'm not much on that. I do like washing cars though." She giggled lightly thinking of the last time. "It's only fun if you have someone to spray with the water hose though. Or sliding off the top of the vehicle." She grinned lightly. Washing cars was always fun when you had tons off soap, bubbles, and a water hose. The fun would be endless if it wasn't for it having to end at some point.
"Yeah it got easier. Now I don't even notice it I guess. Want me to show you?" Ginny tilted her head a little to the side. She would love too. She waited to answer him though because he started answering her other questions. "Oh, I see. I didn't think you would be color blind." What she really wanted to know was how closely related they were to real wolves. Were they like Children of the Moon? Those species ate in their animals forms. They hunted like real animals and acted like real animals. Where these werewolves similar in anyway besides shifting into an animal? She knew shapeshifters can shift as they please while Children of the Moon could not. There had to be at least a few similarities though. "I'm sorry If I seem nosey. I'm just curious. I love learning new things." She smiled brightly only speaking pure truth. Learning in generally she loved. Math she could pass on however. The two things she really enjoyed learning was history or how things worked.
"I'd love for you to show me." She added moving forward, although still on the side she was allowed, and sat down crossing her legs. "Only if it's not to much trouble." Ginny looked to her shoe to see it was untied. Her fingers quickly fixed it into a perfect little bow before focusing back on Jacob. She didn't know what to expect besides the shifting and him being larger than a normal wolf.

She seemed so intense and yet so relaxed and at ease at the same time. He just couldn't describe it. It was almost as though she was completely ok with being around him when that would be insane because they were supposed to enemies. He couldn't stop himself from watched her though. Observing everything she did, not because she was different and a hybrid, but because there was something about her that fascinated him. Jake watched as she twirled her hair around two fingers. It reminded him so much of when he pushes his hands through his own hair. Of course he only did it when he was frustrated or stressed about something, but it seemed she did it when she was content. It wasn't something Jake was used to.
When he joked about killing her he knew for some strange reason that he probably never would kill her. It was the weirdest thing. He shrugged it off though, he didn't know what it was but he wasn't going to dwell on it either. When he started explaining that he wouldn't kill her as long as she stayed over there she nodded her head and said it was noted. He chuckled a little, she did realise that when he said it, it was his playful teasing voice right? He hoped so. He didn't want any hard feelings. Then his nagged at his mind and wondered why that was? Sure this girl was different and for some reason reminded him a lot of Emily. The out going, niceness just kind of radiated off of her, not that he would ever admit that to Ginny, that would be a little strange.
Ginny said that she didn't know much about cars but she loved to wash them. She went into a little fit of giggles when she was obviously remembering something and explained how much more fun it was when there was someone doing it with her. He nodded his head. Two girls doing that would be great to watch, he was a guy after all. Of course he thought about all the other things and smiled. It was nice to see someone enthusiastic. "well I'll have to lend you my car and you can wash that. It's disgusting and I just don't have the time to clean it anymore. I'll even lend you a friend" He said it with a smile on his face to let her know he was joking. Ginny seemed like a nice person and Jake didn't want her feel like she was anything else. He knew what it was like to be different.
Ginny was simply curious and he could see that. She said that she didn't want to be nosey. He shook his head. "Don't worry about it. I'll show you." Jake braced himself and then stopped and turned to face her. "If I run off I won't be gone long. There is just some things you don't want to see" He said it with a wink. Just so she knew what he was talking about. OH well say goodbye to another set of shorts. Jake phased and felt as his shorts ripped. He grumbled slightly in Ginny's direction. He sat down on his haunches and then got up and started trotting around in a show off way. Then he ran off into the forest at full speed. He found the shorts he was after and picked them up in his mouth and ran back. He stopped a little way and phased back pulling on the shorts. He smiled as he re-entered the clearing.

Ginny laughed at the comment on washing his car. She had seen movie where girls dresses in bikinis and made a mess of themselves all over cars. To her, they weren't respecting their bodies. Letting men drool all over them almost naked really isn't all that lady like. Good thing she didn't mind it though; a little perverted never hurt anyone. "I'll take it through a car wash." She laughed scrunching her nose a little.
Ginny watched closely as Jake braced himself making sure she would observe as much as she could. She chuckled at his wink figuring he had clothes somewhere close by. She wasn't one for nudity so it didn't bother her if he took off to put some back on. Although swimming nude she did enjoy! As long as no one was around and she knew no one would be coming around. She found it relaxing in her own odd little way. Highly doubtful she could ever free ball with someone else however...that would be weird.
Her eyes watched closely as he began to shift. His shorts immediately ripped into shreds which was expected. She didn't expect the largeness though which made her tilt her head with a fascinated grin on her face. "Bravo." She giggled clapping her hands at Jacob showing off. Of course, she was only playing along with him. It was very interesting to see a Quil-wolf shift right before her eyes. For most it would be an honor. It's not every day someone gets to witness things such as this. Vampires would highly disagree with that, however, they were natural enemies with the werewolves. Ginny saw it as lucky; although she wouldn't admit that to him or anyone else.
She gave a soft sigh watching him trot off. As soon as he was out of sight her phone vibrating in her pocket. The clearing must have allowed her to get single. She answered after the third ring and it was no surprise someone needed her. She sighed again softly once she hung up and replaced her phone into her pants pockets. She had a little more time to talk with Jacob but not much. "I can't say I've seen anything like it before." She grinned a little when he come back into the clearing. "I didn't imagine the largeness correctly. It was a bit surprising, I'll admit." She chuckled.
"I'll need to be heading off soon. There's been some sort of accident at my shop and they aren't smart enough to fix it themselves." She giggled. "I suppose a seventeen year old will have to do it for them." She air quoted her age. Ginny didn't move from her sitting position just yet. She had plenty of time to get there before the shop closed up.

At least she was the kind of girl who could take a joke. Jake almost shook his head. Did he really just think of Ginny, a half vampire, as cute? Seriously what was wrong with him. Jake sighed almost outwardly. Everything was turning upside down these days it was all so confusing now. He didn't really know what he was thinking. She ignored all this nagging feeling though and turned his attention back towards Ginny. She said she would take his car through the car wash and Jake chuckled. "Well I could do that geesh" He said with a roll of his eyes but with a small smile on his lips. She was actually fun to be around.
Ginny seemed to smile at him as he prepared himself. She probably figured about the clothes, there was no doubt about it. He wasn't exactly going to run around in the nude whilst she was watching, it would seem a little awkward in his eyes. Well probably in her eyes as well, as if you would just meet someone and then see them naked and be completely comfortable. It was different for him, he saw everyone naked all the time simple because of the circumstances around him, anything other than that though was just strange. He tried to make it seem as though he was getting ready. He hadn't really phased just for show before and it felt a little strange. But he put himself in the position so that Ginny could see everything.
Jake was so used to shifting now that it didn't even hurt anymore. He remembered when it was a long and slow process, well no he didn't want to remember but what choice did he have? Jake repressed those memories and started towards his showing off. Trotting around was a fair bit of fun quite truthfully, it was something he enjoyed doing, he preferred to have the earth under his paws, it made him feel better. He watched as Ginny looked simply fascinated, there was obviously something there that he hadn't expected. That was alright though. She clapped her hands at him and he barked. He grinned lopsided with his tongue hanging out. It was his version of a smile whilst in this form. He didn't want to scare her though, but he doubted he could do that anyway.
When he came back fully clothed Ginny seemed to be fairly happy with her observation. He watched as she returned his smile. It was nice that someone who was meant to be so opposite to him could be so kind to him. He wasn't one to take that for granted. He chuckled along with her when she said the size of him was surprising. "Yeah that is what normally gets everyone. We have been mistaken for bears as well" he said with a smile. He remembered that period, it was when everyone was just starting to phase. It was just after the Cullens had left, that wasn't such a great for him or for Bella. He sighed but inwardly and kept it to himself. He just looked forward towards Ginny. She said she couldn't stay much longer. "Sorry I didn't mean to keep you. If you must go then you can go"
