Shopping, it was a luxury for most, but for Artemis, it was therapy. No one knew that the little seventeen year old girl lived on her own. That the new estate that was built housed just a teenager. No, the school officials knew, but they were told to hide it, so the students assumed she lived with an aunt. An aunt that never existed. Sure living alone was tiring. But she did what she wanted, when she wanted to, and made her own rules. No one came over though, so she mostly went other places. She had to keep the illusion up.
Mimi smiled softly at a person that nodded hello to her and kept walking through the mall. She had no intended shopping to do. Sure she could get Christmas decorations. But she hired someone to put up the outdoor lights and someone to help with indoors. So she really didn't have much she needed to get. She had nobody to shop for for Christmas, so she could just go buy whatever she pleased. That was always fun right?
She didn't even get to buy anything before a sudden feeling of sadness overcame her. She had no idea where it came from. Just that she needed to get out of the store and away from people before she started crying. Artemis didn't run, but she walked fast. She kept her head down trying to hide her eyes that were already tearing up. She made it to the bathrooms and thanked the heavens that there was no one there. She found a wall and sunk down to the floor and started crying. Her knees bent so she was hugging them to her chest. She felt as if she was falling apart, piece by piece. She was alone and she would always be that way. She had no family. Her friends weren't even that close. No one knew who she really was. She was an outsider playing the part to fit in. ANDill blend up that rainbow above you
Was it crowded in Honey Sweets or was it just her? She didn't mind it so much, but she could be a clumsy person. She didn't want to knock someone over. Ginny noticed the people around all had smiles though, so she probably won't have one of those problems...who wouldn't be happy here? This place was great! By far her favorite place in Ports besides the Starbucks. Their coffee is love after all.
Ginny grabbed things here and there really wishing she could start eating now. She would have to wait until she bought them though. Shoplifting wouldn't look good on her and it really wasn't her thing. The thought of stealing never really crossed her mind. She planned on buying sweets, leaving, and finding a bench to sit at to munch down.
Eying something, she started walking to it. She lacked watching where she was going causing her to lightly bump into someone. "Oh, I'm sorry." She apologized. The young man was pretty cute and being nice never hurt anything! "I apologize." She said with a second apology. This time she used a softer tone and a smile to top it off. "You seem to be just as excited as I am in here." An attempt to make a conversation that she hoped would work. It turned out he was already late for work and left after sharing his name and accepting her apology.
She bought all her things and left the store happily. Her sweet tooth should be covered for at least two weeks and this way Esme won't have to waste money buying these things for her. She decided to walk into the bathrooms to check her make-up. The eyeliner she bought she a tendency to smug and the hybrid really couldn't stand that. As she walked in though she heard crying. Blinking, she saw a teenager on the ground with her knees drawn up.. "Excuse me," She began as her calming nature took in affect. "Are you okay?" Her voice was soft and dreamy, like always.

Artemis genuinely hadn't a clue on why she was crying. She had been having a relatively good day today and out of nowhere she had begun to ball her eyes out. In the middle of the mall no less. This wasn't the place for this. She needed to get a grip on herself. But somehow that task seemed close to impossible. She tried to fold into herself, making her body seem as small as possible. But eventually that just started to hurt. So she loosened up and dug her head into her knees.
She sat there for a few minutes alone. Listening as the people passed around in the food court. She would occasionally hear someone break out in an obnoxious laugh, probably because of a joke their friend had just told. Artemis didn't have friends, not really. Sure there was a couple of people at school she talked to but no one she had close. In truth, she was scared to get close to anyone.
When she heard footsteps, Artemis tried harder to calm her tears. she at least tried to cry quieter. But apparently that wasn't happening because the girl still heard her. She mentally cringed when she walked over and asked if she was okay. But on the outside of her facade she smiled softly and wiped the last of her dying tears away. "Yeah, I'm fine." She spoke giving another shaky smile. This girl was probably just being nice, it wasn't like she really cared.

AND ill blend up that rainbow above you
The look on her face showed she didn't want company, that, or she just didn't want to be seen crying. Either way, she didn't ask her to leave so Ginny started doing what she came to do in the first place. She looked to the mirrow noticed no smugs, altough the light eyeliner was gone. "Yeah, I'm fine." Ginny sighed lightly. She didn't seem to be fine at all, in fact, she seemed terribly upset. Rummaging through a purse Alice bought for her she tried finding her eyeliner. It was that she absolutely needed to fix it, though. It wasn't a big deal.
"You don't sound fine." She told her finally finding the stick that read 'Black' on it. The liner went on smoothly on one eye but on the other to dark. Of course, dark to her is different than how most wear their make up. She slowly walked into one of the stalls to grab a piece of toilet paper....making sure she took a piece that hadn't had fingers all over it, then walked back to the mirror to wipe it off. "I'm Ginny Cullen." She told her beginning to work on the left eye.
"Who are you?" She added turning to where the girl was. A soft smile spread across her face letting her know she was trying to be friendly. And give her some company... She seemed to be alone.
