*Overall History: Jessica met Samuel one night at a bar. It had originally been a one night stand, but something about her had intrigued him and he stuck around a little longer than intended, going out on several dates and learning more about each other. When they found out she was pregnant, neither of them knew what to do. There wasn't precident for hybrid children being born.
Jessica didn't survive through the birth of little Lissa, never being able to see the infants face. Sam became so upset over the loss of her that he could barely stand to look at the child who looked just like her mother. He handed the infant over to a nomadic vampire couple that he knew. They were bound for America and told him that they would find a home for the child.
Once in America, the two vampires tookthe child to the state of Washington. They knew there was a large coven there. They also knew that if they didn't have room for the child in their home that the coven knew another coven in Alaska who could take the child. So the two vampires left the child in Port Angeles before going off on their way, knowing that the child would find the covenand that she would be better off with a group of vampires that was settled instead of two vampires that constantly roamed.
