Boredom...
If Vasilissa could use one word to describe her time in Forks that would be it. Shed been in the town for a couple months now and only recently did she begin to work on her own with Sacha, her dog. Sadly the town was really slow and there wasn't much activity like she had hoped there might be. Besides patrolling the roads and handing out tickets she had done little. Meanwhile she kept hearing of increasing violence in Seattle and the surrounding area. Today she was prowling the downtown area, the police dog keeping pace right beside her.
Letting her mind wander she thought back to that night in Seattle. When her entire life had been ruined by that arsonist. The officers that night had found no evidence as to who had done it and ever suggested maybe it was an electrical failure. Lissa knew that wasn't the case. She had seen the man lurking around the estate and setting the fire. And she would find him again eventually.
After dispersing a group of teens who were probably up to no good Lissa slowly made her way back to the squad car, opening the back door to let Sacha inside before giving her a treat, smiling at the german shepherd and getting into the front seat.
Yeah, Forks was a really boring... Hopefully she could get transfered out of here soon.
