{APRIL} The deep grays and greens of the forest suited to the mood of the lone girl wandering. They were melancholy, calm, silent. She made naught but a slight whispering wind as she sped towards the one place that she knew she could relax. The one place that she figured she could be alone, without being far from civilization, and Jane.
Every leaf that she saw was crystal clear under her vision, every branch and log that was down on the ground was stunningly brilliant through her eyes. What could be looked at as dull and incoherent could be seen as beautiful and romantic by her. The way that the dull browns and bright mossy greens blended together to create a masterpiece of nature intrigued her and made her wish that she was that special but then she remembered...
She was that special. Evie Rae Dunn was a vampire, who glittered in sunlight. She didn't need the uber glittery-ness that she was, because she would wear glitter anyway to freak the humans out. It was fun though, to be watched by everyone. She had an excuse to why she was so weird, and it was the truth too. She was and had been abused when she was younger, although that younger was almost two hundred years ago. How silly age seemed to be when you became a blood sucking vampire creature of the night.
Evie got to her destination, and sat down quietly. It was going to be a long day indeed.

Or. At least, she hadn't been. No, being the little princess girl she had been when she was a child, always acting like a proper lady, not talking unless spoken to, everything. Plus. Everyone of her time had cringed at the thought of entering the woods. Everyone had known that nothing good could come from an expedition out there, Plunderers and Bandits had lived out there. And for a young lady of a rich family, going on some hideous adventure into the darkest woods was absolutely unthinkable, she never would have left the safety of the house that she had dwelt in, in the protection of her father, and whatever else protection that they had had.
Thinking back to her silly human life, Angela couldn't help but chuckle, everything that she had done back then, it seemed so silly now. Cowering and whimpering. Being afraid to enter the world on her own. Being terrified of human bandits, when there had been vampires lurking out there. Vampires. She had been rather naive to think that other humans would have been the only thing that would have harmed her had been other humans. Of course, at the time she hadn't know of the mythical world, except in legends, of course, but that hadn't really counted, back then. At least, not really, anyway.
Giving her head a soft shake to pull herself out of her thoughts, she smiled softly. She was out in these woods to hunt, more or less, and to just wander around. She wasn't hunting humans though, of course not, she hunted animals. It was better that way. But she was three hundred and thirty nine years old! And sometimes, she just, slipped up. It was extremely difficult, to her. Especially since she had spent the first fifty odd years of her new life feeding off of humans. Although, she hadn't know better, really, back then. She had still been around her newborn age, after all. Almost everything had been difficult back then.
"¿Por qué sería alguien aquí?" The question was asked to herself, in Spanish though. She liked the comfort of the familiar language, like a soft, gentle blanket. It brought back a bit of the old her. Angela's eyes flickered around, spotting a form that had raised the question for her to speak seconds before. She wasn't sure why someone would be out this far. Walking forward slowly, her head tilted, slightly, she spoke once more, her tone friendly, "Why, hello." She said, she knew the scent was that of another of her kind, not a human, thought it was better to be careful, than not, after all. That was her motto, basically, anyway.

Evie heard the girls voice behind her. It was ringing beautifully, like bells. It made Evie notice something else, and that was that the girls eyes were almost topaz, a bright yellow color. Beautiful as they were, it called her out on what she was. Evie stood up cautiously, her muscles stiff. She eyed the girl cautiously, as though it was a demon hiding in disguise.
"Hello." Her voice was stiff, and she knocked almost all of the ringing tones out of it, making it as monotonous as a humans voice. She almost smirked at how clever she was, disguising what she was so simply. She had forgotten to remove the blue contacts that hid her dark red eyes, and they weren't due to be changed for a few more hours. She was all set, and could possibly pull of being a human.
"What are you doing out here?" Evie asked, really wondering. The wind tousled her dark black hair that was ratted out at the top, easing to think towards the bottom. The bright red skinny jeans she had donned this morning had little grass stains on them. Her graphic t was still white and bright in the sunlight. Evie had put on regular glitter today, so it covered her glitter complexion well. Evie began to strut over to the other girl, pretending to be a carefree nineteen year old human... even though she'd never been carefree, even during her human years. How ironic life was, no matter what stones it threw at you.
The sun was carefully hidden behind a few clouds. So half of her glittering was gone, and only with careful notice would the other vampire notice that. It would be a simple concealation, something even the newest newborns could handle. Evie had gone through careful consideration of her makeup today, not wanting to blend in but not wanting to stick out like a sore thumb. So she went with in between. A simple line of black around her eyes, concealer all over her face, powder like that of the 1900's, and mascara. Couldn't forget the glitter that covered her eyelids and cheeks and everywhere else.

She was pretty sure she detected the sweet vampire scent on this girl, of course, it could have been very well that the other girl had been just around a vampire, and just absorbed their scent, picked it up. It didn't mean anything, necessarily. Especially since the girl before her had blue eyes, and a more hoarser human voice. But she couldn't be positive about anything, especially with scent, since the scents of the make up, woods, and such were interfering a bit with her picking up the real scent of the girl, of course, she couldn't really see the flush of blood in the girl, either, but still, she couldn't be positive.
Angela brought her golden eyes to meet the girl's as thegirl spoke, asking why she was out here. Of course, she wasn't going to say that she was out here hunting. That'd get her a one way ticket to the Volturi. Especially if the girl before her was actually a human, and ran back to all of the other humans, and they started talking. She'd be in trouble if that happened. So she settled on what she would probably end up doing. Wandering. Giving a slight smile, she spoke in her harmonic voice, typical to her species. "I was just out here, wandering." She said, her voice soft. Sweet and innocent.
Of course, she could, you know, use her power. But she didn't like really using it, plus, it seemed a bit cruel, depending on the situation, if she made someone do something agaisnt her well. But if this girl could run as fast as she could, then she would know what she was. Unless there was some new breed of superhumans out there, which she doubted.

The look in the girl vampires eyes screamed wonder. It was obvious that she didn't realize that Evie was a vampire. More than likely she figured that Evie had brushed shoulders with a vampire, just as Evie would've first suspected. It was quite obvious in the way she thought carefully before she answered; something only someone who had been around for a while would notice. But after 166 years of life, Evie could see a lot of things that others were oblivious to.
Evie sighed contentedly and bent down to pick up a random wildflower that grew at her feet where she stood. It was a single purple poppy, the little bulbs of purple high in count and high in color. She held it out to the other vampire as an offering. She would play this out a bit. She knew that the girl would be soon confused by her human-yet-inhuman actions.
"Do you believe in vampires, wanderer?" Evie asked, knowing it would spark some sort of interest. With Evie's looks though, it would be pretty obvious to any other vampire or human that she would be more interested in macabre things than the usual 'sweet bunny' kind of things. How ironic it was, seeing as how macabre Evie really was. A trickster at that, and even been proclaimed as a good one. Evie sighed contentedly and began speaking once more, "I think it'd be interesting to meet one, don't you? All interesting in history. I heard from a close friend that they aren't as dull as they were said to be in the stories, either." If that didn't give away something, Evie knew that this girl would be sort of, idiotic. Hilarious, she realized. Something as simple as a few words could be translated into something huge, something almost malicious.
Evie turned her head as she heard an animal. She guessed that it was a few miles away, and probably a mountain lion judging by the scent it gave off. She could tell that it was hunting itself, looking for something to feed its cubs or the likes. How simple that seemed, to hunt and to be hunted. Everything in this world had a predator, everything. Evie wasn't too worried about the girl vampire wondering why she looked in that way, a squirrel rustling through the branches loudly in that direction would give her a good enough cover. She wanted to play this game out thoroughly as possible. It was in her mood.
notes: ( yes quite. lawls. I'm excited to see whether Angelina plays along with Evie or not. )
