Dean was in his store getting everything ready before he opens it up for the night. He takes a broom and dustpan and starts from the front and starts to sweep the floor in small areas and then he would pick the dust and dirt up with the dustpan. He would repeat that a lot. He makes it to the back and then he would put the last of the dust and dirt in the trashcan. Then he would go out to the front of the store and make sure everything was in place and looking neat and nice. Then he would check around the counter area and in the back. Then he went to the door and flipped the closed sign over so the open side was showing.
He went back to his office to do some paperword in between times of helping customers. He heard the bell ringing and that meant a customer was coming in. He walked from the back and towards the group of kids. Dean asked" What may i help you with tonight?" The older one of the group asked" Do you have and steel spiked cleats for baseball. It is starting up soon and my old ones are worn out." Then Dale led the group of kids to the baseball section. He picked up the newest pair of cleated shoes they had.
Dean said" This pair just came in today. They have a very comfortable lining inside and they are hard to stay dirty. There is a downside to this type of shoe. That would be if you do not clean them everyday that will increase the chances of getting ruined and not letting you get your money's worth."
The kid looked at his friends and they huddled up and talked about it. Then the older kid said" About how much would this shoe cost me?" Dean said" With all the extra features it entails i would say 150 dollars plus another 15 dollars for the shing wax to keep them clean. That is all before tax."
The kid says" Ok i will take them" Then dean led the group of kids to the counter and Dean rung up the shoes and stuff. Then the kid handed Dean the money and then dean said" Well have a great night ". The night went slow but he would have a few more customers but they were only comparing prices .
