********** 私はあなたを愛して しかし、あなたは知らない 私はあなたが欲しい しかし、あなたが気にしない ********** Church...a place where those who have sinned could confess to God and be forgiven. For Aya Miyagi, this place was a sanctuary. This was not because she needed to be forgiven for any sins nor did she believe in God. But this place rarely had much people especially during the night. The candles that flickered, illuminating the inside of this building gave her a warmth that no other place could. She was allowed to think, to process, to breathe...And today, she really needed to breathe more than any other day. Thank goodness for this place...She had found it when her best friend Tatsuki had died and she did not want to face the apartment in which the two of them had rented together. After having walked for hours with no destination, her feet had finally taken her in front of the church doors. That was already half a year ago.
As she pushed open the doors and felt the familiar warmth of the church. The candles were lit as they always were. The young woman slipped into one of the pews, sitting quietly for a moment. All was quiet..almost a little too quiet. However, that was to be expected for the time of day and also for the place. Aya heaved a small sigh and looked at the statue of Mary at the alter, her eyes mesmerized by its presence. She had seen the statue many times before and yet today, for some unknown reason, she was almost..angry. And she needed to take out her anger. And so, without much further adieu, and thinking that nobody was there except her, she walked angrily towards the alter, stopping just a couple of meters away. She glared at the statue, her body shaking as she cried out "Nazedesu ka?! Naze anata wa watashi ni kare o motte iru nodesu ka?!" (Trans: Why?! Why did you have to bring him to me?!) This was the only time she allowed herself to speak in Japanese. In this lovely city of Forks, she was perhaps the only person who knew how to speak Japanese. Since she was practically talking to herself, there was really no need to use English anymore...or so she thought.
She was still shaking as she fell on her knees, giving way to the fatigue that she had been feeling. Still, Aya forced herself not to cry. Nobody had ever seen her cry and it would remain that way, even for the statue. Her body continued to shake as she lowered her gaze towards the ground. She could feel her heart flutter...and a sharp pain overtook her. She winced slightly, furrowing her brows at how sudden it had come. This was not the time...this was NOT the time. The girl would allow herself to kneel there, losing almost all composure as she thought of the man who she had been speaking of. Daichi...Daichi...came his name whispered in her mind. She shook her head, trying to clear her mind. She hated this..hated being vulnerable against the man. Why...why did she have to fall in love with him...or rather...why did she have to still be in love with him after so many years?! If only she knew...

Ginevra sat near the lakes edge with her knees drawn firmly to her chest. She had always liked this part of forest the most. It was always so peaceful, so quiet, so enchanting. At least it was when she chose to visit. The lake being a place she could escape everyone for a short period was much needed. She found it a place where she wouldn't cause harm to someone.
Ginny didn't think much of trouble and often tried avoided it, yet she had always landed herself in a bad situation. She never means too, of course. She never means to cause others any sort of misfortune... yet she did and that's why she was here. The hybrid tried her best to avoid any sort of potential disaster for herself and others alike. After her fathers death, she hadn't much luck on staying out of trouble. She was positive that the clan of vampires were trying to find her and take her life just as they did Mikels. Not to mention a vampire who attacked her in her own shop only a month ago! Esme had been so worried about her newest daughters well-being she couldn't leave the house for a week.
Wrapping her arms around her chest to shield herself from the chill breeze, Ginny continued to gaze out at the lakes horizon. She was always so curious as to what lay beneath the lakes water and had mentally made a note to soon find out. After a few minutes Ginny felt cool drops of rain fall onto her face. Rain. She had always found rain so inviting, so beautiful. Tossing back her head Ginny closed her eyes and surrendered herself to her surroundings.
Ten minutes or so the rain had stooped. "Aw." She muttered softly. It would rain again in do time. Maybe later on tonight, or at least she hoped. Sighing, she stood up and through her bag around her shoulder then made her way out of the forest. She figured it would be a good time to visit a church. There may not be a service going on but at least it would be quiet and she could have a little time to talk with her dead father. She may not fully beleive in after life or God but the faith of her father being somewhere lovely held tight to her.
As quiet as she could, she walked up the steps and entered the building. A young woman was already here, on her knees, and by Ginny's high senses she could see the lady was upset. "Excuse me." She began, standing a few feet away from the door. "Are you okay? I thought the church was empty. I'm sorry if I'm interrupting you." Her voice was soft and day dreamy-like as always. A small smile spread across her face hoping she could at least stay for awhile. Although, leaving wouldn't be an issue. She wouldn't mind if the human wanted to be alone.

********** 私はあなたを愛して しかし、あなたは知らない 私はあなたが欲しい しかし、あなたが気にしない
********** A sound from behind would snap Aya out of her momentarily emotional breakdown, as she heard the opening of the church doors. Who could it be...? She guessed that in due course she'll be able to answer her own question. Although she did not want to lose composure of herself especially if the person would prove to be a stranger, she was in no state to do so otherwise. Instead she merely allowed herself to continue to kneel on the ground. She would wait until the person who would enter had indeed entered. The young woman would keep her eyes on the ground until she heard the other person's footsteps draw nearer. dare desu ka (Trans: who is it) she thought to herself. She was a little afraid to meet new people, perhaps by nature she had become phobic of even that small gesture.
"Excuse me...Are you okay? I thought the church was empty. I'm sorry if I'm interrupting you."came the voice from behind her. Aya noted it's melodic nature, a voice belonging to a younger girl. She found a way to show a small smile before she turned her head to look at the girl who had just spoken. As she set her eyes on the other, she noticed her pale skin and her blonde hair. Indeed, she was a stranger to her. Aya didn't trust her body to tru and rise from the ground, at least not for the moment and so she merely bowed her head, a sign of formality and nodded her head. In a gentle whisper she would give her reply. "I'm okay..."Although her words were spoken, she knew that she didn't sound convincing at all. She clenched her hands into fists, thinking of some way to stop her body from shaking.
But it seemed nothing worked.
And so, she decided to let it be. There was no use trying to hide her current state anymore. As she studied the girl a little more closely, there seemed to be something different about her. Being a teacher at Forks High School has guaranteed her the opportunity of meeting many different people alike. students had the air of being weird in their own rights that Aya had soon learned not to question too too much. She was getting old after all and the new generation of young adults perhaps had different primciples than she did. It was simply not her place. She tried to continue the conversation "I haven't seen you around...though that may be because my only parameters is Forks High School. My name is Aya, I am a teacher at the local hgih school" She thought that that was the safest introduction. She had forgotten how to carry a normal conversation with teenagers. Aya guessed the the girl she was speaking to was indeed a teenager from appearance.

Ginny noted anything she could of the human before her. She could already tell the adult was mature and well mannered. She did give a bow of the head in return but only because she new it was of Ayas culture "I'm okay..." Aya didn't seem to be okay, not in the least, but Ginny didn't press the issue further. She was a stranger after all, and not many people can pour out their emotions to a person they don't know.
She wondered how new Aya was to the area as she was new herself. She hadn't even been here for a full year yet and she knew she would have to go to school sooner or later.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Aya. I'm Ginevra but everyone calls me Ginny. I'm new to the area. Carlisle and Esme Cullen adopted me not to long ago. I'm sure you've heard of Dr. Cullen?" Ginny paused a moment to give a soft smile. She knew all of Forks knew of the Cullens so it wouldn't surprise her in the least if Aya has heard of them. Sighing a soft breath, she walked forward and sat at the first pew not far from the teacher. It had been obvious Ginny stopped using her fake American accent with Aya now that she sounded completely British. "You'll probably see me in the school sometime. Esme wants me to attend Forks although I may be home schooled." Her eyes strayed to the statue before them as she fell silent for a moment.
She had originally come here to talk to her father but it seemed she may make a new friend instead. If that would be possible, of course. She didn't act like she was at the age of sixteen or seventeen. Unknown to Aya, she was over thirty years old. It wouldn't surprise Ginny if Aya thought of her as mature for her 'age'. She didn't talk like most teenagers around the area nor did she plan too.
"I've never been to Japan. I'm guessing you're from there." She finally piped up again. It was obvious Aya was Japanese. "I would love to go sometime. I'm from London, England." She looked back over to her.
