*| personality: Angela is a bit on the quiet side, at least, to strangers, anyway, she won't talk much to them, meaning she won't just jabber after them, she'll talk, just, sort of in a more reserved manner. Even though Angela is quite friendly, and such, she isn't exactly the type of person who will give away her life story to any stranger that decides to talk to her out on the street. She knows better than that, after all, that's how she was raised. Angela will talk quite easily to almost anyone, once she gets to know them fairly well. Of course, she still is quite a bit wary of every new stranger that she meets. And she has been, ever since a major event in her past, that changed, well, that event changed absolutely everything in her little world.
Angela isn't exactly a litttle angel, she is quite mischievious, at that matter. She likes to play cat and mouth, I suppose you could say, with her prey. Angela also enjoys just running, feeling the wind pushing back her hair as she sprints forward. Angela is also terrified of losing herself, turning into some sort of monster that she isn't loosing control of herself, and loosing that piece of the past. She also hates the modern society, in a way. She hates the fact that it has, sort of, whiped all of the past away, and changed everything. And it makes the world feel so strange to her, even though she has had over a hundred years to get used to this new world, she still wishes the old world, the one she was part of when she was a human, still existed, and nothing had changed, since she had been changed. But she doesn't hold much of a grudge to the world. She was never really one to hold a grudge. Angela is fairly kind and helpful, though she does have a bit of difficulty being around humans, usually.
----I WAITED EIGHT LONG MONTHS----
…she finally set him free…!
…she finally set him free…!
*| history: Angelina Louisa Rivera was born to a family of three, now four, on August 28, 1649, in Spain. Her family was quite well off, and had a large house, and the little girl's every wish was nearly guranteed. She was a sweet child, full of curiousity, and always adventuring. She grew up well, the prized daughter of a buisnessman. Of course, she did grow up hearing, and speaking spanish, from the day she was born, really. She played with her big sister, or more like annoyed her. Of course, she was young at the time, so she didn't take notice. And, soon enough, her father was looking for a spouse for his daughter. The sweet, gentle child that always had a smile on her face.
The man that her father saw fitting had the strangest, bright red eyes, which always seemed to change colors, to darken or brighten. And he had the coldest skin imagineable. And he scared her, a bit, but she hid it fairly well. With a blank face, or smile. Until, when they were out on a walk, he bit her, she tryed to scream, but he wouldn't allow her. It took her three days to change, May 17, 1668. And her father presumed her as dead, or kidnapped. While the man had changed her and she, herself deserted that town, of course, it wasn't really by choice, but she left, either way. Of course, she had decided, more or less, while she was in her right mind, not ruled by the newborn thirst. So she was taken to some cabin, deep in the woods. Her creator taught her how to hunt, in the traditional way, and she always had a sort of, influence, over her prey. Which was a bit odd, but it didn't bother her.
It took multiple years for Angela to actually return to her right mind, and be able to make choices for herself, instead of having decisions made for her, due to the fact that she couldn't necessarily foucs on anything but her thirst, for the first few years. But she gained her mind, sooner or later, and relized who had turned her, and was what had caused her this pain, and lost her her beloved family, and future. And she deserted him, making it clear that the marriage was off.
Angela never stayed anywhere very long, after that, she'd learned enough, to know the outline of the laws, and know that there were some lines that she couldn't cross. More or less. Angela wandered for the first years, hunting when she needed to, but not leaving a real trail, to humans it was one or two killings, and then it stopped. Some fifty odd years, maybe more, into her new life, she happened to run into another vampire, who explained it's lifestyle, vegetarian lifestyle, to her. She found it quite fascinating, and seemingly more human, so she converted, or more like attempted to, but she changed, more or less, her lifestyle, over the next few hundred years, with a few slip ups. And she still has her slip ups today, living in Port Angeles, having moved in the eraly 1900s, and picking up the language, and a bit of money, as she made her way to the west coast. She is now fluent in spanish, and basically, english as well.
*| roleplay sample: Typically, Leah wouldn't find herself this far away from the reservation, or even from Forks, in fact. She liked to stay near home more than she liked to go out wandering on her own, usually, anyway. Not always. Staying near the reservation was always safer, for the most part, anyway, there were always other wolves there to back her up, if she needed the extra help. Not that she necessarily needed help. Of course, some of those wolves got on her nerves. OK, so, typically there was someone on her nerves, unless there was absolutely no one in the vicinity of her, and she wasn't in wolf form, because everyone seemed even more annoying with the pack mind. Everyone seemed to think that they should annoy her because she's one of the only girls in the pack. The first girl. That was sad, in her opinion.
Leah sighed softly as she strode onto the boardwalk, it was interesting, at least, a little bit, all of those pointless games, a majority of which she could most likely win easily. Of course, the humans were weaker in her, so it was relatively fair, for them. If everyone was a human, and had the average human strength, and such. But she didn't so she was a shoe in for winning. Of course, that would be too odd. And plus, she wasn't in a mood for playing the boardwalk games. In a way, she just wanted to spend the evening walking around and enjoying herself, before heading back home to the reservation. It would be good to feel like an average girl in her early twenties.
Plus, it was really nice to not have that sickly sweet vampire scent stinking up her nose, like it always did while she was in forks. But for the most part, it was just good to escape the confines of the reservation, and to get out and enjoy herself a little bit, or, at least, attempt to enjoy herself. She thought softly, as she wandered around the boardwalk, absorbing the happy, excited energy that a place like this had, even she could tell that, after all, everyone looked so pleasant and happy.
It was good to be able to escape the reservation at the end of the day, to not have to see them fawning all of the people they had imprinted on, when she wasn't even sure she could imprint. And it hurt to see Sam and Emily, of course, she loved her cousin, but it was still a bit hard to see her cousin with her old boyfriend. And it still hurt a bit. But that wasn't something she should be worrying about this evening. No, she was going to enjoy herself out here tonight. Hopefully.
