Allyson was born in Seattle, Washington. She was the youngest, and her sister, Marcy Walker was the oldest daughter. Marcy was two years older than Allyson. Their father, Joe Walker, had to travel to England to teach a college, and their mother, Renee Walker, traveled to Japan to try to teach English there. Allyson was five, and Marcy was seven. The two girls were then placed under the care of their aunt, Aunt Charlotte, who they sometimes call Auntie Char.

Allyson and Marcy, as well as Aunt Charlotte, traveled to Forks, Washington. The rented an apartment and soon bought a house in the town. Ally adopted her dog, Mitsy Walker, soon after she arrived in Forks.

Her sister and her tried their best to take care of Mitsy, then later sent her to obedience school. Sadly, Marcy then moved upon turning 19. Ally was 17, and she wasn't informed about where Marcy went. She was only left a note. Allyson misses her sister so much...
