Codi Yumia It had all started with that freak show; Codi had been noticing all new trend among some of the other students. Greasy black combed down over their eyes, make up, finger nails painted, and clothing which as far as Codi was concerned, could have went both ways. It was getting harder and harder to tell the girls from the guys and vice versa, yet another glorious downfall of society as a whole.
Of course, Codi wasn't really dressed to standards of his family, a pair of faded blue jeans and a white tee shirt with black boots. On his left hand were two silver rings, one on his thumb and the other on his middle finger, both engraved with some sort of runes or what not. Around his neck was a simple rope necklace pulled tightly at his throat with an odd sort of bauble which meant something only Codi knew and understood. His general appearance was American in every meaning of the word and this sometimes ostracized him from the rest of his group.
Moving on with the situation at hand, Codi watched the two before him, the girl, who was a sophomore, had been sketching from what Codi could surmise of the moment was now in an early and seemingly awkward conversation with the guy. The rain didn't seem to bother either one, despite their inability to take drawing inside and away from the rain...or rather their lack of intelligence.
Leaning up against a wall, Codi crossed his arms and watched the silence which passed between the two before him. Both the girl and the guy seemed like they didn't have a coherent thought between them, however, the girl did seem a bit more collected. Codi had learned that girls always had something going on in their heads, even if they didn't act like it and on a side note, Codi hoped the lack of conversation on her part was because of lack of interest in the guy. "Well," Codi finally said after realizing this conversation was going nowhere, "If your wanting a conversation, then I really doubt this winner here is going to give you anything worth your while," he said, flashing a smile in girl's direction, not even giving the guy the time of day.
With a roll of his eyes he walked back into the warmth of the school. He made a right turn once he reached his destination of the second hallway; in his mind he wanted to annoy or bug the science teacher. He slowly walked up the professor classroom door and made his entrance. However, the teacher wasn't there. Figuring he would wait he leaned against the wall...

It was raining, like it had every other day this week. And if the rain stopped there was still always a hazy grey cloud cover. Staring up at the sky, Logan sighed. She didn’t like it but it wouldn’t do what the people at the orphanage wanted. They might think it was working depending on what was said about Logan in the new school. She had yet to make friends here; well there was one girl at the orphanage that might have strong chances of becoming a friend of hers. Shrugging off the thoughts, Logan turned and started walking into the school.
Quickly becoming lost in the new school she pulled a folded up map out of her back pocket. She read the map carefully and was looking at it more than her surroundings. It was then that her foot hit something and sent her tumbling forward. It was moments like these that she was thankful of her leopard or she would have been flat on her face. In this case she spun quickly, regaining her balance and looked to see what she tripped over.
Her eyes fell on a pair of black boots much like her own and they carefully followed them up the body of a senior who leaned against the wall. “Ah! I’m so sorry!” She said as her eyes reached his face. Her face showed the surprise of tripping over him but quickly turned into a warm smile. “Can you help me maybe?” she asked hopeful that he might and she could stop wandering. Her black painted fingernails held softly onto the map and schedule as she waited for an answer.
Logan gave him another quick glance as they stood there. He was cute, dressed a lot simpler than her. Her own outfit consisted of her black combat books with black leggings tucked into them. Over top the leggings she wore a short black mini skirt. Her Pacman shirt was a little wrinkled but clean and her arms up to her elbows were covered in purple and black strips from her favorite pair of fingerless gloves. Under the gloves her arms held several of her bracelets. To finish the outfit off she had donned her dark bear beanie as she left this morning. Logan’s eyes swept over him but lingered a little on his rings. It was something since she had turned. Many pieces of jewelry looked like silver but Logan knew what was and wasn’t. His rings were and she did not want to touch them.

Codi shut his eyes and listened to what was around him. It was pretty quiet besides the classroom beside him; which the teacher seemed to be speaking loud enough for the whole hallway to hear. He let out a breath that could be taken as a laugh. The senior really didn't feel like going to class or being inside the school at all for that matter. He wanted to be home asleep or taking a day to Seattle for some fun. This place lacked fun which should make it easy for him to fall asleep at his desk, but with that teachers mouth running like it was there would be no way to sleep through that.
He sighed right as he felt someone trip over his boots. Codi's eyes opened to see a teenager catch herself before she fell to the floor. He raised an eyebrow at how good her reflexes were. “Ah! I’m so sorry!” He remained the same as he was before she tripped over his boots; against the wall with his hands shoved into his pockets. “Can you help me maybe?” He looked at the map that had her schedule plastered on it. "Sure." He told her looking at the class she needed to be in now. Her classes were like she had failed and needed to retake...that or she was just smart and got bumped up in a few.
"This way." Codi gave a smirk before walking to the right of the hallway. "I take it you're new here. This school isn't to big. It shouldn't take to long for you to know you're way around." Sighing, he took one of his hands out of his pocket to fix his bangs then replaced it. He tried not paying attention to how the girl was dressed because, well, he was mentally ranting about it earlier. It wasn't such a bother on girls as it was on the males. The ladies looked cute if they knew the style good enough at this girl obviously did. "I'm Codi." He finally gave her his name. "And you are?" He asked keeping his eyes infront of him.

Logan grinned as the boy agrees to help her find her class. It was actually her study hall at the moment but the office had told her to go around and find where her classes were so that she wouldn’t get lost when she actually needed to be at them and to have the teachers sign another sheet that was in her bag saying that she had actually showed up. Spinning on one foot she followed him smiling. She was glad that he kept his hands in his pockets. It made her worry a little less about his rings. She nodded her head as he spoke. “Ok…I hope it won’t take that long…though I can tend to get lost easily.” She giggled a bit and walked to the right and a little behind him.
Logan’s eyes watched him carefully as his hand came out of his pocket. Seeing him only fix his bangs she relaxed again and fixed her own bangs, brushing them away from her left eye a bit. She always kept them cut at an angle over her left eye but they could be brushed to the side when she needed to use both eyes. The thing was that they never stayed to the side long. Looking back at him as he spoke again she grinned and skipped up a step to be next to him. “I’m Logan! It’s nice to meet you Codi. What grade are you in? Do you like it here?” She smiled at him and put her hands behind her back as she walked. Her black bag with its rainbow stars stayed tucked against her side so it wasn’t swinging all over the place.
As they walked Logan tried to remember where they were going. She was going to be in two senior classes, it would look bad for her if she was showing up late to them. She was only a sophomore herself and it had taken a lot of convincing for the staff of the school to let her be in the senior English and Science classes. Logan was happy about it though. She hated to be bored in school. Realizing her thoughts were drifting she shook her head lightly and focused back on where they were walking, trying to pick out certain things to remember. Things that she would be able to still see when the hallways were full of other students and not just the two of them.
